Floyd Mayweather Sr. Sued for over $20 million | Forbes

Dr. Paul Gift contributes to Forbes article

Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Associate Professor of Economics Paul Gift, PhD, writes in Forbes that Floyd Mayweather Sr. is being sued for over $20 million for breach of contract. The suit was filed by Ann Barlow in the Clark County District Court (Nevada) on October 2, 2017.
The lawsuit itself stems from a 2015 dispute between Mayweather Sr. and Barlow, in which Mayweather Sr. claimed Barlow tricked him into signing a contract for public relations consulting services when he actually wanted assistance setting up a nonprofit foundation. That lawsuit was eventually dropped, but the new suit filed by Barlow appears to be an attempt to clear her reputation, according to Gift.
