Dr. Nelson Granados Predicts Amazon Prime Day Will Break Sales Records

In his latest Forbes post, Dr. Nelson Granados, associate professor ofinformation systems technology management at Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management, predicts that Amazon’s massive Prime Day promotions, deeper inventory, and attractive additions to their video service will enable the company to break their previous sales record. Dr. Granados says that Amazon certainly has done a great job of raising awareness. There is an Amazon App that lets you track upcoming deals and receive notifications when they are about to start and there are countdown to Prime Day promotions that are already available. He says “it will be interesting to see if the promise of amazing Prime Day deals along with exclusive video content deals enable Amazon to further increase its market share.” Read more here.
