Mr. Emerick started his business career 19 years ago. During that time, his professional experience has included a variety of corporate ventures. Jim's experience spans financial, business development, product management, sales and marketing, operations and general management disciplines. Jim has held leadership positions with corporations such as TRW, Allied-Signal and Honeywell International. Jim currently serves as Senior Vice President – Division Operations Executive for Bank of America Global Consumer and Small Business Banking.
Jim has been featured as the keynote speaker and panel member at seminars and conferences focusing on acquisition reform, international business and pricing strategies. Jim holds a U.S. Patent for his efforts in the technical and product design characteristics of an Ozone Conversion Heat Exchanger for aerospace applications. He has provided his consultation services to a variety of companies in the aerospace, property development, wholesale and academic services markets. He has co-developed initial business and financing plans for several successful entrepreneurial ventures. Jim has also served on the board of directors for a not-for-profit organization.

Mr. Emerick is trained as a facilitator, mentor, instructor and coach. He has taught professional courses in pricing, life cycle cost analysis & parametric estimating, negotiation, presentation, strategy, organizational design, international mergers and acquisition and market analysis. Jim has served as both a professional and personal mentor to numerous employees and colleagues throughout his career. In addition, Mr. Emerick has served as class advisor for Pepperdine's EMBA program.
Mr. Emerick's varied experience as an executive, consultant, instructor and coach ensures that EMBA students will receive current and pertinent information relating to all facets associated with successful business ventures, whether entrepreneurial or corporate.
