Women's Leadership Series

Leading with Authenticity

Women's Leadership BrochureDownload PDF brochure

Over the last 50 years, women have made a significant impact to companies and the workforce. Evidence is clear: companies that have a higher percentage of women in top management and in board seats, substantially outperform companies that do not. Despite the abundant data that supports the need for more women in top management and the board room, the gap persists between men and women in the workforce in terms of percentages in upper management, pay, career path, and leadership development. While there are numerous factors contributing to the persisting gaps, the contributing factors that are repeatedly cited are that women do not receive leadership development, women lack confidence in their leadership style, women often don't have mentors, and women do not negotiate for themselves.

The Pepperdine Women's Leadership Series is a unique curriculum-based program developed by women, for women. The series addresses the key leadership issues women face in business, career, and the meeting room preparing them to propel their success in the workplace while remaining authentic to themselves.
