Managing Director, Andersen Tax - Los Angeles
Tim Wylie is a member of the Andersen Tax Private Client Services group and works with wealthy families and their related businesses, trusts, private foundations, and other entities. Tim provides income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance, wealth transfer and business succession planning, and charitable giving strategies and structures. Tim assists individuals and multi-generational family groups with tax planning and income tax compliance. He also advises global families (with assets and/or members around the world), as well as inbound and outbound individuals, with respect to international income, estate and gift tax planning and compliance.
Additionally, Tim works with the Andersen Tax Exempt Tax Advisory Services practice to advise some of the largest private foundations in the country regarding various unrelated business income, self dealing, excess business holding and other excise tax issues. Tim is an adjunct professor for the LLM in Taxation program at Loyola Law School of Loyola Marymount University, teaching Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates. He was also an editor of U.S. International Tax Matters Relating to Global Families and Individuals and a contributing editor of Tax Economics of Charitable Giving.
