Brian Moynihan was named chief executive officer of Bank of America in December 2009. Prior to his role as CEO, he served as president of Consumer & Small Business Banking at the company, overseeing the service of 53 million U.S. consumer and small businesses though leading online and mobile banking platforms; more than 6,100 banking centers; 18,500 ATMs; nationwide call centers; payments processing, and image strategy. Moynihan joined Bank of America in 2004. He previously led Global Banking and Wealth Management, managing services to clients across the U.S.
