Professional Experience
Dr. Woods is an adjunct professor and class advisor at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA where he also serves as chairman of the committee to create and develop a Spiritual Leadership Trail on the Malibu campus of Pepperdine. Dr. Woods also teaches at several other educational institutions in the Southern California area. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Woods invested more than 20 years in the operations divisions of several global, multi-billion dollar restaurant organizations, where his primary focus was field restaurant operations. Additionally, he has spent several years in senior executive leadership positions in the science and engineering field with two global organizations.

Dr. Woods has held key senior level/executive positions throughout his leadership/management career. As a vice president of operations for two different science and engineering organizations, He was responsible and accountable for 50% of the national operations and financially accountable for over $100M in annual revenues. He has been a regional director for several restaurant organizations, which include Koo Koo Roo, Baja Fresh, Tony Roma's and Golden Corral. He also has extensive experience in the franchisee community within the restaurant industry. Dr. Woods was directly responsibility for operations in more than 20 states, with more than 200 franchised units and sales in excess of $450M in annual revenues.

Education

Teaching Experience
Dr. Woods is actively engaged as a university professor. He is an adjunct professor and class advisor at the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. Dr. Woods is lead professor of restaurant operations, finance, management/supervision and strategic planning at The Art Institute of California-San Diego located in San Diego, CA. He is currently an adjunct professor at Argosy University in Orange County, CA, teaching in the DBA and MBA business programs and sits on several dissertation committees. Dr. Woods has also taught management and related courses at the Los Angeles College International. As a management consultant, he has worked with several organizations in the U.S.

Associations and Publications
Former president of the Society for the Advancement of Management (S.A.M.).

Dr. Woods has developed expertise in the fields of personal and corporate ethics. His first book, entitled The Dark Side of Leadership, Personal Dysfunction or Societal Crisis, will be ready for release by the second quarter of 2007. He is an invited guest speaker/lecturer on these topics and the development of effective leadership traits and characteristics within all levels of management.
