Her early career began in Silicon Valley's high-energy startup environment and Kathleen remains an active member of the local VC/Angel investor community today. Kathleen applies her expertise to advancing business opportunities, defining strategies and executing complex implementations. She has a proven track record of success metrics through strong leadership and applying her unique approach to affect change leadership in emerging business arenas.
Currently, Kathleen is a worldwide business unit executive in IBM Software Group leading sales and delivery of IBM's world-class solutions. Kathleen parlays her engineering experience with her sales and business development background creating and leading new industry solutions for IBM business growth.
Kathleen brings a wide range of teaching experience to academia from the business environment. She delivers subject matter to technical audiences as well as business and leadership to executives and management teams. Kathleen is a regular guest speaker at many professional and industry conferences.
As an active mentor and coach, she is dedicated to helping others learning to cultivate stronger business alliances with internal and external clients. Kathleen has been the director of the IBM Silicon Valley EXITE program, is a leader mentor with Women Unlimited and several leadership and technology organizations.
