
Soo Jeong (Chris) Hong, PhD
Biography
Soo Jeong (Chris) is a full-time member of the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School faculty. Her research interests include media information effects on financial markets, consumer & supplier choices in the sharing economy, and business analytics predicting and explaining these ICT-driven phenomena. In addition to her current projects, she co-authored articles published in International Journal of Agricultural Management, China Economic Review, and Meat Science.
Prior to joining academia, Dr. Hong worked for four and a half years at the Korea Housing Finance Corporation; her primary role was issuing mortgage-backed securities. She also worked for KB Kookmin Bank in Korea.
