Brandon Parsons

Professor Parsons has over 15 years of business experience working in a range of industries. Brandon started his professional career working for McKenna Long & Aldridge, now Dentons. He worked on litigation, corporate, and anti-dumping cases. Subsequently, Brandon became the managing director at a division of Adecco Staffing where he oversaw fifty attorneys and led business development. After his time with Concise, he worked for Caterpillar Financial in Nashville, Tennessee.

Brandon began teaching economics in 2014 and currently teaches at the graduate and undergraduate level at Pepperdine’s Graziadio Business School. He currently teaches managerial economics, macroeconomics, international business, and business integration. Professor Parsons’ research interest is on how corruption affects economic growth, economic development, exports, and foreign direct investment. Brandon received his BA from the University of Southern Indiana, his MBA from Pepperdine University, his MA in economics from the University of Detroit Mercy, and is currently finishing his PhD in Economic Development at the University of Southern Mississippi. Brandon is an avid traveler having visited over forty countries and every continent.
