Erik Krogh, PhD
Practitioner Faculty of Information Systems Technology Management; Academic Director, MS in Applied Analytics
Dr. Erik Krogh has been a full-time member of the Pepperdine University Graziadio School faculty since 2014 and became the academic director of the business school's MS in Applied Analytics program in 2017. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University, an MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management from the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management.
Dr. Krogh's extensive Information Systems practitioner experience spans 22 years. He began his career as a data analyst, rose to the rank of Divisional CIO. His IS experience spans multiple industries, including financial services, supply chain/manufacturing, and government contracting.
He spent his IS practitioner career working in a variety of technical and managerial roles for companies ranging in size from small start-ups to large IT integrators, such as Computer Sciences Corporation. He previously held management positions at Indymac Bank, Hewlett-Packard, and ARAMARK Uniform Services.
Dr. Krogh is a member of the Southern California Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and participates in CIO roundtables where top Southern California IT executives discuss their real-world issues. He co-authored a paper that won the 2005 SIM "Best Paper Award" and has been published in MIS Quarterly Executive.
