Multiple Degree Opportunity Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Management

Our Multiple Degree Opportunity program provides our high-achieving Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) students an expedited course completion plan for the Pepperdine MBA by waiving the GMAT exam and requiring fewer units for completion. This option is only available to students who have completed the BSM Program at the Graziadio School.

Eligibility Requirements

 Grade Point Average

Completion of the Pepperdine Graziadio School BSM Program with a cumulative GPA of between 3.0 and 3.39, no more than five years prior to the start of the Part-Time MBA degree program.

 Work Experience

Minimum of three years of work experience.

 Minimum Grade

A minimum grade of "B" for each BSM-level course to be used for waiving comparable FEMBA core content. For Bachelor of Science in Management courses in which a minimum "B" grade was not attained, the corresponding FEMBA core course must be taken in additional to all other degree requirements.

 Units Waived

The number of units waived toward the completion of the FEMBA degree will vary based on the cumulative BSM GPA earned, in accordance with the following scale:

  • 22 units waived for cumulative BSM GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Up to 16 units waived for cumulative BSM GPA ranging from 3.30 – 3.39
  • Up to 12 units waived for cumulative BSM GPA ranging from 3.20 – 3.29
  • Up to 8 units waived for cumulative BSM GPA ranging from 3.10 – 3.19
  • 0 units waived for cumulative BSM GPA ranging from 3.00 – 3.09

 Courses Not Eligible for Waiver

The following courses may not be waived: Courses BSCI 650 Personal and Leadership Development Workshop, BSCI 651 Behavior in Organizations, GSBM 670j Integration in Business Operations, and STGY 659 Strategic Management. GSBM 670j must be taken prior to STGY 659. GSBM 670j cannot be taken with STGY 659.
