About Siawn Ou, MBA Candidate 2010

Siawn O. is a second year Full-time MBA student at Pepperdine University. He was born in Beijing and grew up in the greater Boston area. He attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where he received dual bachelor's degrees in Economics and Chinese. "After working in finance for two years, I decided to look into the more creative aspects of business," he says. "Pursing an MBA was a great avenue for me to make the transition from purely quantitative thinking to the more collaborative science of marketing. I chose Pepperdine because of its passionate faculty and close knit community of students and alumni." Siawn will be studying abroad in Beijing this fall.
