Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and Management is engaged in an ongoing private cost of capital survey (PCOC) to specifically examine the behavior of senior lenders, asset based lenders, mezzanine funds, private equity groups, and venture capital firms. The Pepperdine Private Capital Markets Project is the first comprehensive, simultaneous investigation of the major private capital market segments to:
- Help private business owners understand the private cost of capital to make optimal investment and financing decisions
- Research capital types and the requirements that must be met to raise new capital
- Assess the broader policy implications
