Fast Track MBA
Course Waivers
Fast-Track students may earn their MBA with 40 units of course work, rather than the regular 52 units required in the Fully Employed MBA.
Students admitted to the Fast Track option may choose to waive up to three Fully Employed MBA core courses (12 units total) except the core course associated with the concentration they intend to pursue. To qualify for a core course waiver:
- Students must have obtained a minimum B+ or better grade in at least six (6) semester units of comparable upper division undergraduate coursework for any Fully Employed MBA course they wish to waive.
- The upper division undergraduate courses must have been completed within the past seven years.
- Course waivers must be approved by the relevant department chair.
