Pepperdine's Master of Science in Applied Finance is a 16-month program that gives you the in-depth quantitative knowledge and the hands-on practical skills needed to pursue a career in finance – particularly in the areas of asset management, banking, and private equity. The evening and weekend format is designed specifically for working professionals, so you can earn your degree in just four trimesters and still keep your day job.
The curriculum is designed with two goals in mind: 1) to prepare students for immediate placement in firms within the asset management, banking and private equity industries and 2) to facilitate preparation for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level I, II, and III exams. Staying true to our Pepperdine hallmarks, the program is experience-driven to give you the real-world skills in finance needed to apply to your career immediately. A focus on ethics and corporate social responsibility is woven into all facets of the curriculum.
The intensive curriculum prepares students for immediate placement with asset management and investment banking firms and to sit for the CFA exams.
