Master of Science in Entrepreneurship
Curriculum

Building an entrepreneurial mindset and capability involves knowledge in key foundation disciplines. The first two trimesters will be comprised of core business courses in accounting, economics, finance and marketing. The following trimesters will focus on entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship as Creative Problem Solving
During the final three trimesters of the program, students will embark on a series of courses framed by the notion of “entrepreneurship as creative problem solving.”
These courses are designed to assist students in modeling, planning and launching their own business ventures – for-profit solutions to real-world problems.
Entrepreneurship Course Sequence
- Discover your brainchild - Two courses to assist students in the discovery of their own brainchild – a personally compelling venture idea with large market potential.
- Develop a business model - Three courses to help students develop a business model that will generate profits, build an effective organization and make a connection with the intended market.
- Present your business plan to investors - The final course pulls it all together, resulting in a business plan that students will present to a panel of angel investors and venture capitalists.
