5-Year BS/MBA

Curriculum

Graduate (MBA) Courses

MBA courses will be taken at Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management, at the Drescher Graduate Campus in Malibu. Students may pursue a traditional MBA or International MBA (IMBA) depending on their career goals. Students pursuing their MBA may select an area of concentration in which to focus their studies.

Course Requirements

Once accepted into the MBA track, students are required to take a total of 25 units of core courses, 24 units of elective courses, and two noncredit internships for a total of 49 units at the Graziadio School of Business and Management.

Year 4
Spring Trimester
  • Personal Development for Leadership
  • Managerial Economics
  • Advanced Statistical Tools
  • Technology and Operations Management
  • Theories and Models of Organization
  • Managerial Finance
  • Accounting Elective (one of three)
  • One elective course*
  • Career Seminar (0 units - focus on resume writing, networking, business etiquette, interviewing skills)

 
Year 5
Fall Trimester
  • Marketing Management (2 units)
  • Managing within the Legal, Ethical & Governmental Environment (4 units)
  • Marketing Consulting (E2B)(2 units)
  • Electives (8 units)*

*IMBA Candidates would do a trimester Abroad at a partner school (all elective courses)
Spring Trimester
  • Strategic Management (4 units)
  • Leadership Elective (2 units)
  • Electives (8 units)
  • Finance Elective (2 units)

(IMBA candidates take the marketing sequence; Managing within the Legal, Ethical and Gov't Environment; and 4 units of elective)
