WSJ: Fireworks Sales Look to Pop as Curbs Ease

According to John Paglia, associate professor of finance and private capital markets researcher, fireworks retailers may initially see strong sales in new markets, but the windfalls are unlikely to last. “The downdraft afterward can be pretty significant,” he told the Wall Street Journal, because a community’s pent-up demand for fireworks is poised to fade once the novelty of being able to buy them locally wears off.
