Michael Crooke comments on the role of values in high performance organizations as they apply to corporate citizenship, environmental stewardship, product/service quality, and financial strength. His topics of interest include corporate social responsibility, sustainability, entrepreneurship and strategic decision-making regarding branding, brand loyalty, marketing, customer satisfaction, pricing strategy and compensation.

Formerly president and chief executive officer of Patagonia, Dr. Crooke directs the Graziadio School’s Certificate Program in Socially, Ethically and Environmentally Responsible (SEER) Business Program. He teaches that the delivery of a quality product or service that incorporates environmental concerns, social issues, and strong financials is essential for a long-term, sustainable competitive advantage.
