“Companies are concerned about their bottom-line. They are going to need good financial people to help them weather economic storms,” Professor David Smith told Fox Business News on Monday. For a segment on careers in industry that might be considered recession-proof, the Graziadio School’s resident labor economist commented on a recent study in Forbes magazine.
“Companies are going to find shortages of bright, smart skilled people,” he said. “Those people are going to valuable to companies over time.”
