Association of Information Systems honors Prof. John Mooney

For the Association for Information Systems (AIS), Pepperdine professor John Mooney created the group’s ISWorld listserv for IS academics and PhD students, and served as list manager for the initial five years.

AIS honored Dr. Mooney with the 2009 “ATLAS” award at the most prestigious gathering for IS academics and research-oriented practitioners in the world, the International Conference for Information Systems, in December 2009. The award is given to “individuals that have made the most significant contributions towards the intellectual infrastructure of the Association for Information Systems.”

Dr. Mooney serves as associate dean for Academic Programs for Working Professionals, which includes the Graziadio School’s Fully Employed MBA program, Master of Science in Management and Leadership program, and the bachelor’s completion program. He is also an associate professor of Information Systems and Technology Management.
