Pepperdine professor Larry Cox, who leads the entrepreneurship program at the Graziadio School, contributed to Business Week’s article stepping small business owners through the do’s and don’ts of developing a budget.
Dr Cox said that it is especially prudent to know your numbers inside and out in today’s economic environment. “During a ‘regular‘ business cycle, you can count on certain revenues and customers and pricing,” he told Business Week. “Of course, we don’t live in that kind of world anymore. You can’t predict a big bank bankruptcy.”
