RANKINGS

financial_timesToday, the Financial Times publishes its annual ranking of Executive MBA programs across the globe and Pepperdine’s Graziadio School once again is honored on the list of Best Business Schools internationally. The EMBA program placed in the top 72 globally, moving up two positions. It is important to note that there are 570 accredited business schools worldwide and the Graziadio School remains ranked in the top 20% of all these schools.

The Financial Times did not publish a regional ranking this year as it had in the past. Their editors confirm that the Graziadio School competes in the top 31 in the Americas. If one identifies those business schools based in the U.S. and California, the EMBA program is in the top 27 nationally and among the state’s top 5.

The ranking also scores other dimensions that distinguish the Executive MBA. The Financial Times scores changes in the level of seniority and the size of the company alumni are working in now versus before their EMBA. In this career progress category the EMBA program ranks in the top 32.The extent to which Graziadio alumni fulfilled their most important goals or reasons for doing an EMBA ranked globally at #36.

The ranking is compiled using data from two surveys; one is completed by alumni who graduated from their respective programs three years ago, in 2007, and the other by the business school.

While no single ranking captures our student-focused, values-centered culture, we recognize the importance of rankings and are committed to excelling.
