The Evolution of Knowledge for Value Creation

September 9 - 11, 2008
Drescher Graduate Campus, Malibu, CA
7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management is pleased to host the Second Annual Southern California Knowledge Management Forum. Approximately 100 executives from the Southern California area attended the two-day 2007 KM Forum conference. This year, the conference organizing committee has expanded the conference to offer a third day, which will focus specifically on knowledge management topics affecting the international aerospace industry. Everyone is invited to attend and learn.

About the Conference

The focus of this year’s conference is the evolution of knowledge for value creation. Over the last several years, firms have spent significant efforts into implementing knowledge management (KM) strategies. Much of these efforts have resulted in the firm’s ability to better manage and capture knowledge. Recently, many of these firms have turned their attention to leveraging their KM efforts to create value for their organizations.

The conference will deliver a unique, highly interactive and professionally challenging environment that attendees will find very helpful to discuss, share, and learn different perspectives and ideas on knowledge management. Employees from your organization will be able to learn of the KM efforts that neighboring firms are undertaking and engage in networking opportunities. This conference is intended for individuals who are involved with KM related work — from industry, academia, or government. The intent of the conference is to build a community of practice on the topic of KM.

Space is limited to the first 175 people who register and pay. Please register early!
