Admission Requirements

The Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management seeks applicants with significant work experience and the desire to develop or enhance their management skills. Please carefully review all application materials before you complete your application.

Submit Letter to Admission Committee

Provide letter to admission committee required with the submission of your online Application for Admission. Topic is available on the application.

Submit Organization Chart

Provide a current organization chart indicating your position within the organization, including reporting relationships required with the submission of your online Application for Admission.

Provide a Current Resume

Provide a current resume (suggested but not required).


Candidates will complete two interviews with executive director, deputy director, regional director, and/or faculty member.

Provide Recommendation Letters

Provide at least two letters of recommendation, one from your supervisor and one or more from business associates qualified to comment on your performance, leadership, and potential to contribute to an executive MBA program.

Official GMAT or GRE Test Score Not Required

Note: A standardized admission exam is not compulsory, however, the Executive Admission Committee reserves the right to require an official test score to verify quantitative skill.

Only Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) taken within the last five years will be accepted.

Provide Official English Proficiency Test Score (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE)

Applicants who earned their undergraduate/graduate degree(s) in a language other than English must submit the English Proficiency Test score taken within the last two years from one of the following agencies listed below:

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Contact: www.toefl.org or call (617) 671-2075.
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Contact: www.ielts.org or call (609) 921-9000.
  • Pearson Test of English (PTE). Contact: usreco@pearson.com or call (323) 255-2771.

Use the following codes for score reporting:

TOEFL: 7485
PTE: Not required
IELTS: Not required

Provide Official Transcript(s)

You must provide an official transcript with your posted bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university. All transcripts reflecting in-progress and/or completed coursework must be submitted to the Graziadio School Admission Office. The official transcript(s) must be issued by the school registrar(s) and provided in a sealed envelope prior to enrollment. If you have not completed your bachelor's degree at the time of application, submit a current transcript.

Applicants who attended schools outside the United States are required to submit certified transcripts in English. Submitted transcripts must include a cumulative grade point average (GPA on a 4.0 scale, A = 4.0) that has been evaluated by a credentials service such as the World Education Services, Inc. at www.wes.org.

Program Admission Information

  • Letters of recommendation are not required for the program.

  • The International Student Data (ISD) form and financial support documents are not required at the time of application.

  • Use one e-mail throughout the application process and all correspondence in order to ensure proper processing by Admission. Be aware that @163.com and @126.com addresses often have difficulty receiving emails from Pepperdine.
