Mr. Rapier has been actively engaged in marketing as both a practitioner and lecturer since 1982. As a practitioner, he has over 25 years of experience on both the agency and client side. He has provided strategic insight relative to brand and marketing strategy, advertising, public relations, and market research to a range of organizations, including 3M Unitek, Burson Marsteller (Universal Studios), IndyMac Federal Bank, Power Lift (Caterpillar Lift Trucks), Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary, and Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. His academic experience includes lecturing at Cal State University Long Beach, Cal State University Los Angeles, Cal State University San Bernardino, Claremont Graduate University, and the University of Southern California. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University.
