Dr. Warren J. Hahn is currently an assistant professor of Decision Sciences at Pepperdine University's Graziadio's Graduate School of Business and Management. He was previously involved with teaching undergraduate and MBA-level courses in management science as a graduate student teaching assistant at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas. From 1991 through 2001, Dr. Hahn held several engineering and financial management roles with firms in the energy industry, including ARCO, Vastar Resources, and BP. More recently, he has been involved in consulting and advisory roles on management science applications with BP and Shell.

Dr. Hahn's research interests include quantitative modeling of operational decision-making and its effect on asset value (real options) and numerical techniques for solving decision analysis problems, including decision models for problems with multiple conflicting criteria. He has published his research work in leading management science and economics journals such as Decision Analysis, European Journal of Operational Research, and Energy Economics, and he has also presented numerous other papers at conferences and meetings. He has received several academic awards and citations for his research work, including the 2004 Decision Analysis Society student paper award for his summary of his doctoral dissertation at the University of Texas.
