"The knowledge that I’ve gained at the Graziadio School helped me transition from a deployment in Iraq to starting and running my own business."
How has the Graziadio School impacted your life?
The knowledge that I've gained at the Graziadio School helped me transition from a deployment in Iraq to starting and running my own business. If it hadn't been for Pepperdine, I would have spent more money and time accruing credit hours than necessary. The university staff was very helpful in telling me what I needed to do before I even applied to the program.
What makes the Graziadio School unique?
The very first weekend of the program, you participate in a personal development workshop that lets you meet your classmates and get experience networking right then and there. It's pretty intense, but it's worthwhile because you never know when and how your classmates can help you. Many of us are in this program to get a better job or start our own business. Now you know what your classmates are capable of and how you might work together.
What is the value of an MBA?
One thing that I've been taught in life is that you'll never regret more education. The MBA is well worth it. It can only help you, never hinder you. In just a short period of time, I've been able to develop leadership habits, look at things in a different perspective, and really begin to think critically.
