The Graziadio Experience
Graziadio Hallmarks
Entrepreneurial
Entrepreneurship is about new ideas. Pepperdine encourages a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among all students, whether running their own business or working in a corporate setting. The Graziadio School's entrepreneurial heritage is exemplified by two successful entrepreneurs: our benefactor, George Graziadio, founder of Imperial Bank; and the University founder, George Pepperdine, a pioneer in the automotive industry.
Degrees for Entrepreneurs
The entrepreneurship programs at Pepperdine guide students in how to launch a company starting from the spark of an idea. These classes are designed to help you tap into your creativity and translate your vision into a real business that not only produces wealth, but also allows you to express your passion and values.
Students may choose from three degree options that focus on entrepreneurship:
- M.S. in Entrepreneurship
- Fully Employed MBA, concentration in entrepreneurship
- Full-time MBA, concentration in entrepreneurship
Business Plan Competition
Student teams bring their new business ideas before a panel of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the school's annual Business Plan Competition. Students compete for cash prizes totaling $25,000, which can be used to fund the launch of a new business.
Entrepreneur's Journey
The annual Entrepreneur's Journey is a one-day event bringing together students, faculty, alumni, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and angel investors to discuss the myriad challenges and opportunities of getting a new venture off the ground. A must for all aspiring entrepreneurs.
