Bikel

Robert Bikel, DBA

Director of SEER, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School

Robert Bikel, MBA, DBA (‘21) is the Director of and Lead Faculty for the SEER (Social Ethical and Environmental Responsibility) Program at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business.  A faculty member since 2011, Bikel has taught various courses in the SEER program as well as Strategic CSR Executive Certificate classes.  He is also an independent strategy consultant specializing in sustainably oriented businesses, focused on strategic guidance and market intelligence for responsible companies in B-Corp/Benefit Corporations, cleantech, online media, e-commerce and food industries with clients ranging from Neil Young’s Pono Music service, Jes Maharry Jewelry, the Yes Bar, and, with ex-Patagonia CEO Michael Crooke, Fox International Channels and a major Latin American media company.  A former investment banker, Bikel also has 12+ years experience in entertainment as a development executive, producer and music supervisor.  A Harvard graduate, he has a SEER-certified MBA from Pepperdine and has GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) certification.  His doctoral research focuses on managing sustainability tensions at the corporate board level.

Thomas Vozzo

Chief Executive Officer, Homeboy Industries

Tom Vozzo is an author, speaker, and Fortune 200 executive turned nonprofit CEO at Homeboy Industries, the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry organization in the world. 

A transformational leader, Tom has cultivated Homeboy's portfolio of social enterprises including Homeboy Bakery, Homegirl Café, and Homeboy Recycling, and increased revenues from its enterprises to decrease its reliance on donations and government funding. He is passionate about helping those who live on the margins of society and addressing the challenges of racial, economic, and systemic injustices.

His first book, The Homeboy Way, is centered around the ideals of compassion, kinship, empathy, and social justice.

Mallory

Linden Mallory

Global Product Line Director - Alpine, Patagonia

Linden began his career navigating glaciers and mountain peaks as a mountain guide, leading climbing expeditions from the Andes to the Alaska Range to the Himalaya. His passion for wild places and desire to use the power of business as a tool and model for responsible consumerism led Linden from the mountains to the coast where he is Patagonia’s Global Alpine Product Line Director, responsible for Patagonia’s largest technical product line. Linden grew up in Colorado and Annecy, France and received his BA from Dartmouth College.
