Paul Armstrong, PE, an ASQ certified manager of Organizational Excellence and Six Sigma Black Belt has enjoyed helping industry, industry and non-profit organizations through the process and people dimensions of dramatic change for over 25 years. He continues to ignite enthusiastic improvement via insightful coaching on knowledge sharing, organizational learning, visioning and, sometimes just some FUNdamental teambuilding. A unique mix of engineering and right brain thinking, Paul has been especially helpful to technical and engineering enterprises, but also has a passion in assisting non-profit service agencies. Paul received his BS in engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy and his MS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. With a background in engineering, project management, and process improvement at large organizations, he is now Partner and Chief Innovation Officer for eNthusaProve, LLC.

Virginia Crockett

Virginia Crockett is a senior director with QUALCOMM’s Learning Center. With more than 20 years in university and corporate education, Ms. Crockett has extensive experience in leading education and training initiatives from both a technical and organizational perspective. At QUALCOMM, Ms. Crockett leads three departments. As the head of the corporate library, market research and information services department, she ensures that the accurate business, engineering, and legal information is delivered promptly to internal stakeholders. Ms. Crockett also manages a team of internal learning consultants providing performance consulting, needs analysis, and customized learning initiatives. Finally, she directs the development of online professional and technical education and training. In this capacity, she leads the design, implementation and evaluation of social, mobile, and knowledge management initiatives to support global business needs. Ms. Crockett has spoken at many national conferences on the topic of e-learning.

Jim Everard

Jim Everard joined Microsoft in 2007 as the senior director of engineering excellence for the Interactive Entertainment Hardware and Technology Group. In this role, Jim led a team responsible for realizing business results through improved product development processes and realizing the value of effective knowledge sharing. An engineer by trade, Jim has several years of embedded system development and project management experience across industries including medical devices, semiconductor inspection systems, data management systems, test instrumentation and digital display systems. In addition, Jim has had the opportunity to serve in various management roles helping build and scale engineering organizations with a focus on solid engineering excellence fundamentals. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jim held multiple engineering roles including systems engineer, executive director of product development and vice president of engineering. Jim holds a BSEE from Kettering University, an MSEE from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Marcie Zaharee

Dr. Marcie Zaharee joined MITRE in 2005 as a manager for training and knowledge management (KM) integration. In this role, she established and managed MITRE’s FastForward team which is responsible for providing training to help staff effectively use MITRE’s IT toolset. Marcie is currently a knowledge management principal, supporting the director of knowledge services, where she works to advance knowledge management in MITRE, championing efforts which support staff collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strengthening MITRE's knowledge base. Prior to her arrival at MITRE she worked for the Department of Defense for 15 years in various positions to include security management, intelligence analysis, and training management. She holds degrees in business management (B.S.), business education (M.S.), and computing technology in education (Ph.D.).
