Named among the top 25 managers of the year by BusinessWeek, Robert A. Eckert is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Mattel, Inc. Eckert joined Mattel in May 2000 from Kraft Foods, Inc. where he served as its president and CEO. He began his 23-year career at Kraft in a variety of marketing positions until he was named vice president, strategy and development for Kraft’s Grocery Products Division in 1987. He currently serves on the board for McDonald’s and the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. |
